HUMILATE was designed to deliver highly translatable microbiome data by simulating key in vivo-like conditions in a scalable ex vivo format. The platform preserves inoculum integrity over time, maintaining microbiome composition at the genus level, sustaining the viability of sensitive species, and retaining overall community diversity throughout cultivation

More than a cultivation system, HUMIPLATE is a fully integrated microbiome discovery platform providing high customer flexibility.

It combines ex vivo cultivation with compositional profiling, metabolite analysis, functional characterization, and the full portfolio of ACA-Health assays.

Customers can tailor the process to their specific needs: starting with composition analysis and expanding later to functional characterization on selected samples, or beginning with functional analyses and adding compositional profiling afterward.

HUMIPLATE also gives customers the option to receive supernatants and other cultivation-derived fractions for complementary downstream investigations.
